BTI40P Baba Thibodaux

Baba Thibodaux: I-40 Terror is an adult thriller that takes readers on a murderous chase from the bayous of Southern Louisiana to Flagstaff, Arizona. It is a character-driven story of incest, racism, murder, and a glance into the mind of evil. The book contains graphic violence, adult language, and adult situations.

The story begins with bloody murders on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and flashes back to eight years earlier. The protagonist, Baba Thibodaux, is an evil swampy no-account, born in the Southern Louisiana bayous. Committing numerous violent crimes and two murders, Thibodaux flees to avoid harsh swamp justice. The law (racist Southern-style justice Sheriff Budro and Calvin White), a pimp (Sammy Washington, flash personified), underworld hit men (Hardman and Placer, the likes of which the world has never seen), and an array of unforgettable characters pursue Thibodaux as he travels west I-40 to Arizona. To survive, Thibodaux robs and murders truck drivers, whores, and others unlucky enough to cross his path.

Thibodaux arrives in Flagstaff, Arizona and agrees to work for Nav, a Navajo Indian, owner and operator of a small airport. Off the highway, Thibodaux enjoys a steady job and realizes he has evaded the law and life is good. His refuge goes sour when he gets involved with stealing gold from a major crime boss. Once again Thibodaux flees.

Eight years later the story resumes. Thibodaux returns to Flagstaff intending to collect his promised share of the ill-gotten gold. Baba will keep the reader loving the action and fascinated by the story and hating all that Baba stands for, right up to the final stunning conclusion.
