ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Kathy Steel is a writer and actress who lives at the New Jersey sea shore. While growing up, she spent her summers making fudge on the Atlantic City boardwalk, at her family's business, Steel's Fudge, which has been in operation since 1919. Several years back, she developed a series of plays which taught children about life in our oceans. Now she has written a new story about Harry the Hippo for new and old fans. Another she hopes will help children who may not feel as though they "fit in" quite as well as they would like!
