Mom . . . Dad . . . I'm a vampire.

Peter Stephano thought things would get easier once he became one of the undead. But his family's inability to accept his choice of lifestyle puts a damper on his homecoming. His father disowns him, his mother drags him to group therapy and his sister thinks it's all a delusion. On top of that, Peter is a misfit among the typical vampire crowd. He doesn't sleep in a coffin, hang at the vampire bars or dress in all black. A delicious and irreverent send up conventional and unconventional interaction between society's perceived normal and its perceived outré elements in a time of changing definitions and relationships, as Peter leads us through the experiences and problems of a young male vampire and his adventures as he attempts to come out of the coffin while searching for a happy medium between his vampirism and the life he wants to . . . uhm . . . live. Double entendré usually intended . . .
