In a readable and lively style, the author helps young adult readers

well as possible solutions to a variety of situations.
This volume is a fun book that will speak most eloquently to our young
adults. —Gertrude Goetz, Ph.D., Librarian, Hamilton High School, Los Angeles, CA
Got to Use Your Head for Something Other than Growing Hair, an
exceptionally well-written and thought-provoking volume, is an ideal
teaching aid that will appeal to young adults. If you have ever tried to
instill positive attitudes in teen-agers, you will understand why this
book is highly recommended. —Betty Lee Kesten, BA, MA, (Who's Who in Education), Director, Learning
Tree, Downey, CA
As a publisher of numerous educational and informational programs, I
commend Dubovik for this superior instructional tool—with or without an
instructor. At last, someone has attempted to write serious material in
an interesting way for today's young adult readers. Got to Use Your
Head for Something Other than Growing Hair makes a valuable addition
to everyone's library. —Tony Medrano, Publisher, Universal Printing and Publishing,
Albuquerque, NM
I found Got to Use Your Head for Something Other than Growing
Hair a very interesting and lively presentation of imaginative short
pieces. Dubovik's ability to express positive values without sounding
too preachy is managed with considerable success …Hope that school
teachers, librarians, and parents will be as pleased … as I was.
—Professor Herman Piven, John Jay College, City University of N.Y.
This worthwhile volume of short stories and essays helps administer an
educational shot in teens' gray matter without needle or pain; Got to
Use Your Head for Something Other than Growing Hair makes a fun reading
experience for young adults. Older adults, too.
Wish we had the opportunity to publish and distribute this valuable
book.
—John Raydell,
Editor, Publications Co., Albuquerque, NM
... a
delightful, refreshing read that should be used in every middle and
high-school classroom. Teen-agers will absorb more from one of G. J. Dubovik's snippets of wisdom than they will from a variety of other
sources.
The book's presentation … makes it easy for one to pick up for a quick
read and sit back down to digest the wisdom.
