PRAISE for Woo Burgers!

This book is what you get when you mix living on Big Pine Key for 29 years, six months of intense chemotherapy, and 15 years of practicing veterinary medicine among the unique characters of the Florida Keys with no filter on your anesthetic machine. —F.W. Belland, THE TRUE SEA

A cheerful romp interrupted now and then by sulfurous whiffs of stuff the tide washed in. It’s like a stroll in Mallory Square at sunset in March—exotic, entertaining, bizarre. The author has molded the Keys’ deeply wacky raw material into a charming cast of eccentric underachievers. It makes a tasty mix of the author’s past and the Keys' present. —Hal O’Boyle, DEMOCRACY: THE PAINTED WHORE

About the Author: Theophilous is proof that cancer can be a positive turning point in your life. After graduation, he spent most of the next twenty years practicing veterinary medicine in the Florida Keys and teaching a small business development program for veterinarians and business owners.

After surgery, and six months of chemotherapy, Theophilous follows his enthusiasms. He spends his days writing mysteries and screenplays, juggling, playing the banjo, walking, bicycling, building fountains and antique brick walkways, traveling, riding his motorcycle, and entertaining his grandson; just not in that order
